Roma Saleyards

The Roma Saleyards is almost a national icon having held the mantle of Australia's largest selling centre for a number of years, with throughputs of over 12,000 head per sale.  Visitors can witness the first hand the excitement of the auction with Store (unfattened) cattle sold each Tuesday from 9.00am and  Prime (fattened) cattle each Thursday from 8.00am.  Special and bull sales are also held at different times throughout the year, and this impressive facility can be inspected at any time.
