Roma Heritage Trail

Wander back through time on Roma’s Historic Walk.  Informative plaques at landmarks along the way detail their contribution to Roma’s exciting and colourful history.  Highlights include the White Bull Tavern, so-named for the infamous white bull mentioned in Harry Redford’s famous 1873 cattle stealing trial immortalized in the novel “Robbery Under Arms”;  St Pauls Anglican Church which features stain glassed windows shipped from England in the 1870s; and the classical School of Arts building which was used as a lookout for enemy aircraft in World War II. A brochure can be collected from the Roma Visitor Information Centre.
