Roma Cup

The 2009 XXXX Gold Roma Cup on November 21, is guaranteed to be one of the most colourful, exciting and fun weekends in Western Queensland.

The state’s richest racing event to be held that weekend attracts thoroughbreds and punters from beyond the Maranoa, eager for the display of quality country racing.

Action begins downtown on Friday night with a Bacardi Cocktail Party and Calcutta on the Cup race, open to all at the Maranoa Club.

This year’s Inner Circle Track Party on race day features a new band and will remain open until late. Another band will rock the main concourse after the races until the small hours.
