Big Rig Parklands
Surrounding the Big Rig Tourist Complex is beautiful landscaped parklands. Weaving around the parklands is the "Roma Express" a miniature train that runs along a 1.4km track and which is enjoyed by young and old. Natural Gas BBQ's are also available for free. Attractions within the parklands is an historic slab hut museum; old wool wagon and a steel riveted council flood boat. Ducks wander freely around the pond area and enjoy being feed at anytime of the day.

Shady's Lagoon was established in the early 1990's, and features a large lagoon with a central island, a timber deck amphitheatre and an area of open parkland and walking trails. Popular with walkers and dog owners, the track is part of the Adungadoo Pathway.
Apex Park Is a great place for a short break with public toilets that are wheelchair accessible, a fenced-in playground, historical wagon and small oil rig and is located on Northern Road.
Lions Park Located in the north west of town on Elmer Street, the Lions Park is a well-used public facility under the management of the Roma Lions Club. The park features playground equipment, a cricket pitch, BBQ's, public toilets and also houses the Lions Clubhouse.
McGrath Park Located in the western suburbs on Downs Street, McGrath Park is a large, open space area for general outdoor activities. It features a cricket practice net, basketball hoop and some play equipment.
Rotary Park Can be found in Twine Street in the southern suburbs. The park has some fun playground equipment and a picnic shelter. A great place for some time out.
Matron Moss Park Matron Moss Park is a small quiet reflective area adjacent to the Roma Hospital and is generally used by staff and visitors.
Cultural Centre Gardens Gardens surround the Cultural Centre and a park which was the grounds where Roma's famous footballer Arthur Beetson played is located between the Cultural Centre and the Recreation Centre and is the perfect place to sit and read.
Roma Bush Gardens is a native and natural environment with many plants and trees native to the region and is well worth exploring. Take a stroll around the Gardens which can be found surrounding the Railway Dam.
