The Largest Bottle Tree

Located at the end of Edwardes Street off McDowall Street

Roma’s largest bottle tree, which has a girth of an incredible 8.9 metres, was transplanted by Roma Town Council to its present location from a local property in 1927.  The tree was fairly well grown at the time of the transplant and quite possibly originated in the 19th century.
